One Quiet Week

If you could switch lives with a famous person for a week, who would it be and why?

If I could switch lives with a famous person for a week, I wouldn’t pick the loudest one. I’d pick someone who already knows how to be still.

Maybe a writer who lives by the water and doesn’t have to perform every morning. Or a chef who gets to feed people and then go home when the lights go out. Someone whose days have edges. Someone who isn’t watched every second.

I’d want the week just to remember what it feels like when no one needs a version of you. To walk without an audience. To make coffee and not post it. To sit in a park like this one and not turn it into content until I was ready.

Fame looks like freedom from the outside. Most days I think it’s just a different kind of cage. I’d take the week, learn what their quiet actually costs, and then I’d want my own life back—sticky sheets, bad coffee, and the person who kisses me awake included.

Salt in the air. Coffee in hand. And the choice to stay present.
